Discovery / Shop / Colours of San Cris

The restaurant/shop is named after the area of San Cristobel del las Casa in Mexico, as the both Cabarlah and San Cristobel are alive with abundant produce, flowers and a friendly, colourful local community.

Colours of San Cris is uniquely situated in the historical gate keeper’s/ station master’s cottage that was built in the 1800s and which retains original timber slats that are still visible under the veranda roof. This area, which is now known for local produce and flower growing, was known historically as a rail siding, and for timber cutting and brick making.

The restaurant is BYO and customers are seated along the old verandas and across the garden. Food is kept simple and clean, featuring local seasonal produce accompanied by fresh herbs and flowers.

The Colours of San Cris shop specialises in Central and South American textiles, ceramics and jewellery, together with hand-sourced pieces gathered from global meanderings. Customers come from far and wide, and elements of San Cris styling can be found in homes Australia-wide and overseas.

The San Cris team are passionate about their local growers, their country lifestyle and their beautiful handcrafted pieces! Drop in and see them soon.
