This is the original site of the Juandah Head-Station, the heart of a settlement that later became known as Wandoan. At its peak the station employed up to 80 stockmen to run up to 50,000 cattle. Some of the original buildings still stand, including the old Juandah Store, built in the 1850s, containing the first school room for the area. There is also a Folk Museum of local heritage items and social history.
