The Lockyer Valley is home to so much more than farming and agriculture, it’s home to a blend of town and country living with everything from top class restaurants and art galleries to bird watching, roadside produce stalls, horse riding, stunning national parks and bushwalking, all within easy reach.

Located less than an hour from Brisbane, Queensland, the Lockyer Valley is the perfect place for a day trip, weekend or family holiday.

It straddles the Warrego Highway and covers an area of approximately 2,200 sq kms.

The population is growing quickly and there are currently around 35,000 residents.

Projections by the Department of Infrastructure and Planning show that the Lockyer Valley region’s population is expected to grow to 57,443 by 2031 or by an average of 2.4% per annum.
