Dining Guide / Producers / Old Talgai

Old Talgai is a 1,000 acre irrigated grain and grazing property 75kms south of Toowoomba lying along side the iconic Condamine River.

Its rich black soils have consistently delivered plump grains and fat cattle for the Durack Family since 1995. They are not involved directly in the tourism industry, but Jenny and Matthew would love to talk with any tourism operator wishing to establish a local beef or grain supply chain. Irrigation ensures Old Talgai can consistently deliver a consistent quality product and their relatively small size means they can be flexible.

Jenny and Matthew are self-described ‘farmers not restaurateurs’, but are always happy to discuss opportunities to co-invest with a passionate and professional team in a venture that would achieve this end!
