Rural Minds is a comprehensive program designed for people living and working in rural Australia by people living and working in rural Australia. This subsidised Rural Minds Presenter Training workshop trains you in rolling out the Rural Minds Community Workshop in your own community.

Combining practical, culturally-relevant information around mental health, the risk factors, signs and symptoms, prevention tips/techniques and where and how to get assistance. Topics include: depression, anxiety, dementia, drug and alcohol issues, and more. Including compelling accounts of mental health issues from those involved in the agricultural sector, and a suite of Rural Minds DVDs to accompany the delivery of the workshop; tailored particularly for primary producers, their families and those who work and/or live in rural communities. You will be able to network with peers to assist with improving the mental health of your community!

All participants receive a Rural Minds Program Pack.

This pack comprises: a RRMH logo bag; pens, stickers, Rural Minds social and emotional well-being workbook, Rural Minds mental health passport, and a certificate of participation.

All you need is commitment and a passion for improving your community’s social and emotional well-being!
