Jet capable Wellcamp Airport opened at the end of 2014 with QantasLink flights from Sydney and Airnorth from Melbourne connecting Toowoomba nationally. Regional Express provided flights to regional locations within Queensland Centrally located at the gateway between the city and the country, Toowoomba is also easily accessible from the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast.
