A Bottle Tree commemorates those who served in World War One. Four bottle trees were planted in 1917–1918 by the National Bank Manager of Clifton to commemorate staff, other bank’s staff and local men who served in World War One. A plaque was unveiled on the last surviving tree on the 9th March 2004.
