Lake Cressbrook offers boating, rowing, fishing, bush walking, sailing, camping, picnicking, kayaking and canoeing. The lake is set in hills covered with grey gum, iron bark and areas of grassland, which attracts koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and other marsupials. Pelicans, ducks, black swans, cormorants and other birds flock to the lake in large numbers. Sea eagles have nested on the foreshore.
