State Heritage-listed Queens Park and Botanic Gardens opened to the public in the late 1800s. A variety of community activities and annual events are hosted here, including the famous Carnival of Flowers and the signature Flower, Food and Wine Festival. The parkland has three distinct areas, namely Queens Park Botanic Gardens, Vera Lacaze Memorial Park and Queens Park’s greater park area.
